Wilson Henderson Jr. 57, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, departed this walk of life on May 9, 2023. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of Wilson Henderson Sr., and the late Teresa Henderson.
Wilson graduated from Greenwood High School in 1984. He served in the United States for “24” Years before retiring as a Navy Chief in October of 2008 from the Strike Fighter Weapon School on Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va. Wilson was also an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan!! Wilson is predeceased by his beautiful mother Teresa Henderson.
Wilson leaves his cherished memories to his wife Yvette Maria Henderson, his father Wilson Sr. of Greenwood, SC; one daughter Anjelica Henderson of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister, Stephanie Henderson Morton (Wilbert) of Bradley, SC; Grandmother Minnie H. Freeman of Columbia, SC; two stepdaughters, Nakysha Boggs of Orlando, FL, and Sharday Boggs Virginia Beach, VA; one stepson, Arthur Boggs of Chesapeake, VA; two granddaughters, two step granddaughters, and four step grandsons, three brothers-in-laws, four sisters-in-laws, also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Wilson will be missed by all those who loved and knew him.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Prevailing Church, Inc., Eulogy by Rev. Leroy Robinson, and presiding, Apostle Jessie and Kevin Simmons. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
