William Thomas "Dee Dee" Norman

William Thomas “Dee Dee” Norman, 82, husband of Frances E. Norman of 112 Richard Street Greenwood, SC, entered eternal rest on December 3, 2023, at Hospice House and Palliative Care in Greenwood, SC.  William was born March 27, 1941, to the late Gladys Norman Moss. He attended Greenwood County schools and served in the United States Army as well as the National Guard. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #629. He retired from Self Memorial Hospital in the Environmental Services Department.

William was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lee Norman. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Frances, of the home, two goddaughters, Dorthea(Rodney)Lewis of Columbia, SC and LaKeisha A. Wideman of Greenwood, SC, two stepsons, Herbert(Teressa)Nicholson Jr, Terence D(Cathy)Nicholson of Greenwood, eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two devoted aunts, Dolly Williams(William Turman) of Greenwood and Ethel Mae Norman of Shady Side, MD, six sisters in law and three brothers in law, along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing

Services will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Camelia Simpkins. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
