Venson Leon Edwards Jr.

Greenwood, SC- Venson Leon Edwards Jr., 34, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he is the son of Jennifer Blackman, and Venson Edwards Sr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Talisha Edwards; a grandmother, Elease Elmore Lagroone; and a grandfather, John Vernon Watts.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his fiancé Latasha Wardlaw of the home; two children, Emery and Amarra Edwards both of the home; his parents, Jennifer Blackman of Greenville, Venson (Renae) Edwards Sr. of Anderson; special parents, mother and father in law, Mack, and Barbara Wardlaw of Edgefield; six siblings, Reontis Jackson of Anderson, Octavia Edwards, Hakeem Roundtree, Deondra Edwards, Macy Blackman, and Alexis Chamberlain all of Greenwood; three sister-n-law’s, Latoya Anderson, Kameka Anderson, and Britney Wardlaw all of Greenwood; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Reverend James Henderson. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be a “Walk-Thru Viewing Only” from 1-6 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
