Veetland Idalia Hurdle-Hill

Greenwood, SC- Veetland Idalia “Hetty” Hurdle-Hill, 78, of 427 Cambridge East, Apt. I, wife of Johnny Sullivan Hill, departed this walk of life on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Barbados, West Indies she was the daughter of the late, Edgar Douglas Prescod, and the late Beryl Aleane Hurdle Prescod. She was a member of Angelican Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of “23” years, Johnny Sullivan Hill; two sons, Basheer Williams of Connecticut, and Brian Williams of Queens, NY; two stepsons, Douglas D. Hill of Simpsonville, SC, and Marlin Makins of Ware Shoals, SC; one stepdaughter, Candace Hill of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Selwyn Hurdle of Queens, NY; three sisters, Margaret Taylor, Marcella Archer, and Moreen Hurdle all of Queens, NY; twelve grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson and Son Mortuary Inc.
