Valerie Ann Tennant Harrison

Greenwood, South Carolina- Valerie Ann Tennant Harrison, 57, of 208 Plowden Avenue, wife of James Harrison, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born September 26, 1967, in Troy, South Carolina to Janie Tennant and the late Tom Tennant. She is preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Lee Tennant.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Janie Tennant of Troy, SC, her husband, James Harrison of Greenwood, SC; one son, Calvert Tennant of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Latasha (Otis Culbreath) Tennant of the home; one brother, Palin Keith Tennant of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Jannie (Sam) Cresswell and Rose Alice Tennant both of Troy, SC; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Minister Earline Tennant. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family are at the home. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
