Tremayne Darryl Isom, age 43, of Greenwood, South Carolina, passed away on December 31, 2025.
Born on January 20, 1982, in Rhode Island, he was the beloved son of Patricia Charlotte Isom and the late Leroy Thomas Isom. Tremayne was a graduate of Woonsocket High School and went on to attend Rhode Island College for two years, where he studied Psychology and Nursing.
Tremayne was a man of intelligence and rhythm. Following high school, he shared his knowledge as a math tutor, helping others to learn and grow. His passion for music was evident to all who knew him; he was a talented drummer who faithfully played for the Celestial Chorus and the Male Chorus at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Providence, Rhode Island.
Above all, Tremayne will be remembered for his spirit. He possessed a big, caring heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and bring a smile to those around him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Charlotte Isom; and his cherished children: Kylah Lewis of Providence, RI; and Jamaria Smith, Jatavia Smith, Jamerius Smith, and Tremayne Isom, all of Greenwood, SC.
He leaves behind his siblings to cherish his memory: Vanessa Smith (Covington, GA), Jasmine Isom (Greenwood, SC), Jacqui Quinn (Providence, RI), and Jason Quinn (Providence, RI).
Tremayne is reunited in peace with his father, Leroy Thomas Isom, and his sisters, Shanda Smith and Ostina McLaurin-Isom, who preceded him in death.
Tremayne also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. Viewing will be from 2:00 P.M. until the start of the service. The family is at the home. Online condolences can be sent to robson@nctv.com.
