Timothy "Big Ride" Eugene Quarles

Mr. Timothy “Big Ride” Eugene Quarles was born in Edgefield, South Carolina on July 2, 1979, to Mattie L. Quarles and Willie Eugene Quarles. He entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, November 8, 2025. He was a loving father, son, and brother. He attended Greenwood High School, and he owned a company called Moving Squad. He was a man who loved his family phenomenally. He is preceded in death by the late Roosevelt Quarles, Janie Quarles, and Willie Quarles.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mom, Mattie L. Quarles of Ninety Six, SC and his father, Willie Eugene Quarles of Greenwood, SC; two daughters, Tyana Mingo of Greenwood, SC and Mary Jane Quarles of Columbia, SC; four sisters, Debra (Elvin) Jones, Tona (Eddie) Palma, Wanda Williams, and Lashonda Williams; one brother, Isaiah Griffin; two grandchildren, Messiah McDuffie and Malachi Brown both of Greenwood, SC; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and homeboys from Greenwood to Columbia to mourn his passing.

Services will be 12 Noon on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Epworth, conducted by Rev. Dr. Danny Webb. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
