Theodore “Teddy” Aiken, Jr., 67, formally of 756 Holloway Ave, transition on, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at NHC Healthcare, in Greenwood. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the Late Theodore “Chalk” Aiken, Sr. and the late Rosemary Holmes Aiken.
He attended Greenwood High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. At an early age he worked with his father as a Carpenter and worked at several manufacturing companies in greenwood before moving to Philadelphia to work with his uncle in the body shop.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Five daughters, Shameka (Mark) Brown, Shandra Aiken-Martin, Muffy (Nafi) Griffin, Kimberly Aiken and Adrienne (Marquis) Jackson. Two sisters, Bonnie Faye (Burnell) Mason and Audrey (the late Everette) Thompson; nine grandchildren, Darion Griffin, Jadaisha Turman, Kemarion Aiken, Kasden Martin, Marquis Jackson, Jr., Malonnie Jackson, Micah Jackson, Tre Brown, Nicholas Lagroone six great-grandchildren, one niece Ashia Chappelle, Aunts, Barbara Aiken Dean, Shirley Ann Calhoun and Diane Holmes; Uncle, James (Eula) Blocker. Cousins, Vernon (Tamera) Aiken, Regina (Anthony “Hamp”) Susewell, Ronnie Witt, Tonya (Stamp) Jackson, Andre (Marissa) Witt, Greg (Kellie) Blocker and Kevin (Lori) Blocker, Shelby Adams, Andrea Adams, Tamika (Winston) Fisher, Anthony Aiken and Robert Dean and a host of cousins and extended family to morn his passing.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Rev. Joseph R. Caldwell. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be 1-6 P.M. on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. The family are at their respective homes. Online condolences can be sent to robson@nctv.com.
