Tanesa Teara Rice

Pooler, GA- Tanesa Teara Rice, 41, of 214 Chippingwood Circle, gained her angel wings on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Norris Lamar Parks and the late Shirley Ann Rice. She was a member of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Nathaniel Lamar Parks of the home; one daughter, Destiney Elmore of the home; three sisters, Cherri (Demetrius) Habersham of Pooler, GA, Alexis Parks and Anorrea Parks both of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Alex Childs; Maternal grandparents, Juanita and Robert Rice; Paternal grandparents, Joe and Ruby Parks; bonus mom, Anquetta Parks; two grandchildren, Xaint Y. Parks and a little one on the way; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 12 Noon on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Officiating, Minister Romarius Smith and Presiding, Minister Anthony Chalmers. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
