Stanley Jones

Greenwood, SC- Stanley Jones., 69, of 304 Cromer Road in Hodges, SC, went home to be with his Lord on, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Home. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he is the son of Ernest C. Jones, and the late Lula Jones. Stanley Jones was raised by his grandmother Mrs. Annie Mae Jones. He was baptized at Mt. Zion AME Church in Promise Land under the leadership of Pastor A.L. Spearman. He also attended John Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and working on his cars and enjoying the outdoors. He was a very loving husband and father who adored his wife and children. He was a very private person but he was a great listener. He would give you his honest advice if you asked for it. He was preceded in death by one son DeSean Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Shirley Jones of the home; his daughter Crystal (Hector) Galarza of Killeen, TX; two sons Stanley Williams of Greenwood, S.C., and TeRico Cade of Killeen, TX. three sisters, Patricia Shaw of Fayetteville, NC, April Babb of Suffolk, VA, and Hazel Bown, of Suffolk, Va ; one brother, Ernest Jones lll of Greenwood, SC; six grandchildren; four special care-givers during his sickness, Jackie Calhoun(Sitter), Step Calhoun(Sitter), Jordaisha Calhoun, Jeremiah Calhoun, Ms. Anna Rolling (Hospice Nurse) and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Minister Bernard Morman. Burial will follow at Evening Star Cemetery in Greenwood, S.C. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 1-6 P.M. at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
