Shannon Nichele Johnson

Shannon Nichele Johnson, 56, of 405 Long Avenue, Greenwood, South Carolina, gained her angel wings on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Wesley Commons Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Tampa, Forida she was the daughter of the late Jacqueline Williams and the late Robert “Bubba” Johnson. She is preceded in death by a brother, Delphelio “Ricky” Johnson and her stepmother, Patricia Bowie Johnson

She was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church.

Shannon leaves to cherish her memories, one son, DeSean O’Luckey Freeman of Greenwood, South Carolina; one daughter, Rondala Lashawn Hentz of Greenwood, SC; one brother, Robert M.C. Johnson of Greenwood, SC; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services for Ms. Shannon Nichele Johnson will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, with Rev. James Louden, III, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
