Sebias Mehki Jackson

Sebias Mehki Jackson departed this life on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, Sebias developed a love for sports at an early age, playing soccer, basketball, and baseball by the age of five. In high school, he played football during his ninth-grade year.

Throughout his childhood and teenage years, he found joy in riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers and had a strong passion for racing. Above all, Sebias was a devoted father who deeply cherished the birth of his daughter, Alaia Grace Jackson.

He was a proud graduate of Greenwood High School, Class of 2020, and was employed as a production associate at Kraft. In his free time, he continued to enjoy playing basketball and football, gaming, and spending time with friends.

Sebias was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kelvin Holloway, and his great-grandfathers, Charles Anderson and Garnell Holloway.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Chifonda and Christopher Butler; his daughter, Alaia Grace Jackson; two sisters, Madysen Butler and Shikia Davis; two brothers, Tyree Butler and Martenis Brooks; grandmothers, Bernice Jackson and Willie Rappley; great-grandmothers, Betty Anderson and Bettye Holloway; one uncle, Jawaski Jackson; one aunt, Toitethia Holloway; a special friend, Lanya Douglas; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends who will continue to honor his memory.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 124 Raymond Ct, Greenwood, S.C., with Rev. Quincy Baylor, Officiating and Presiding.
