Greenwood, SC- Sarah Frances Duncan Lomax, 67, of 201 Cemetery Road, departed this walk of life on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina she is the daughter of Polly Mae Childs, and the late Charles Rufus Duncan. She was a member of Calvary Grove Baptist Church, and a member of Women's Aide #11. She is preceded in death by her life partner, Andrew Ford, and a grandson, Jaydin Palmore.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Sheka Lomax of greenwood, SC, and Christian Lomax of the home; one step daughter, Felicia Bland; one step son, Courey Murray; three brothers, Charles Randy Duncan of Greenwood, SC, John Allen (Clarissa) Duncan of Easley, SC, and Roosevelt Fulton of Queens, NY; four sisters, Gwen (Leroy) Griffin, Linda Pendermon, and Katina Reid all of Greenwood, SC, and Dorothy White of Queens, NY; four grandchildren, one which was reared in the home, Jaylin Palmore; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Calvary Grove Baptist Church, (2005 5 Notch Road, Bradley, SC/ Off Callison Highway) conducted by Rev. Wilbert Simpkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
