Sarah L. Barbour

Greenwood, SC- Sarah L. Barbour, 85, of 102 Winston Court West, Widow of Joseph Barbour, gained her angel wings on Monday, November 27, 2023, at her home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Pressley E. Murray Sr. and the late Seppie B. Pressley Murray. She's a member of Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church in Bradley, SC, and she received her bachelor's degree at Allen University. Sarah is preceded in death by four siblings, Julia Mae Watson, Alice Almetta Rabsatt, Pressley E. Murray Jr., and Vestine Murray.

She leaves to cherish her memories her only surviving sister, Seppie B. Gilchrist of Greenwood; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 12 Noon on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Mt. Sinai A.M.E Church in Bradley, SC, conducted by Rev. Franklin Pruitt, Jr. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
