Mr. Samuel Jerome” Pure” Lomax, Jr., of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this walk of life on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of Mr. Samuel Jerome Lomax, Sr. and Ms. Joyce Elaine Davis Williams.
He was of the Christan faith and he brought smiles and laughter to his family; he was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the late George Allen Davis and the late Harold Williams
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Samuel Jerome (Barbara) Lomax, Sr. and Joyce Elaine Davis Williams; two daughters, Azaria Lomax of Atlanta, Georgia, and Aviana Lomax of Greenville, South Carolina; a bonus daughter, Jadazia Murray of Greenwood, South Carolina; two brothers, Michael “Trey” Davis and Jermaine Love Lomax; two sisters, Bre (Blake) Coleman of Hodges, South Carolina; and Cherysh Lomax, of Ware Sholes; Step Siblings Tyler (KeKe) Turner and Mariah Fraizer. Maternal Grandmother, Jessie “Shane” Davis, Paternal Grandparents, Pastor Doris (Bill) Rucker. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Services for Mr. Samuel Jerome Lomax, Jr. will be conducted on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Dunn Creek Baptist Church in the Ware Shoals community, with Reverend Sterlin Hill officiating and Reverend James F. Davis, III, Pastor, presiding.
Public viewing will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Robinson & Son Mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com. The family is at the home of his sister, 1427 Morgan Road, Hodges, South Carolina. Services have been entrusted to Robinson & Son Mortuary.
