Sammie "Super Kool" Lewis

Sammie "Super Kool" Lewis, 76, of 300 Lindsey Ave., widower of Cora Lee Taylor Lewis, departed this walk of life on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Abbeville, SC, he was the son of the late Moses Lewis, and the late Annie Lee McDuffie Lewis. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories five sons, Mike (Amy) Glover of Abbeville, Sammie Lewis Jr. of Greenwood, SC, Erick (Crystal) Lewis of Columbia, SC, Tommy (Georgette) Mattison of Greenville, SC, and Jamie Lewis (Lavonda Sussewell) of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Monique Lewis of Abbeville, SC; two sisters, Lola B. Jones and Rose Simpson, both of Buffalo, NY, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Carl T. Chiles. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
