Ruby Lee Williams, 82, of 117 Murray Drive, departed this walk of life on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Wade Williams and Sallie Lee Dalton Williams, Sr.
Mrs. Williams retired from Nantex Industries after 33 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church and a devoted member of the Ninety-Six Senior Center. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Willie Doris Miles; two brothers, Wade Williams, Jr. and George Kenny Williams; one niece, Maxine Williams Davis; and two nephews, Quincy Chappelle and Robert Chappelle.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Priscilla (Fred) Leverett of Greenwood and Devonna (Kelsey) Williams of the home; six grandchildren, four reared in the home, Jimmy Gilchrist, Jimeria Gilchrist, Devondria Smith, and Azariah Smith, and Frederickra Leverett and Quamekia Leverett; six great-grandchildren, Kennedy Gilchrist, Tobias Gilchrist, Milanni Gilchrist, Jermaine Young Jr., Rayterrious Richardson, and Nasir Clark; one brother-in-law, Johnny Miles, Sr.; three sisters-in-law, Laura Williams, Catherine Williams, and Peggy Williams; two nephews, Johnny Miles, Jr. and Kenneth (Brigette) Chappelle; two nieces reared in the home, Sallie (Quincy) Taylor and Lisa (Jerome) Freeman; other nieces and nephews, Sharon (Robert) Brown, Tyisha Sherrod, Cynthia Gilchrist, Brian Williams, and Eric (Amber) Williams; a special cousin, Mattie Pearl Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
Services for Ms. Ruby Lee Williams will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, with Reverend Willie K. Cannady, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Robinson & Son Mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
