Roosevelt Greene

Mr. Roosevelt Greene, 83, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born March 8, 1943 in Greenwood, South Carolina, he moved to Washington, DC and attended Carver Elementary School. He returned to Greenwood, South Carolina to continue his education. His passion was reading, fishing, and drawing.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Roosevelt Greene, Jr. (Wendy); one daughter, Pamela Greene Brooks; a sister, Teresa Greene Duncan; two brothers, Rev. Joe Greene (Mamie) and Ernest Greene (Jennie); 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at St. Paul F.B.H Church. Offiiciating will be Minister Mamie Greene. Burial will follow at the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
