Ronald Hill Obituary

Mr. Ronald Hill (71) of 323 Sullivan Street, was born in Greenwood, South Carolina on July 27, 1953, and entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 22, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare. He was the son of the late George Hill Sr. and the late Julie Ann Hurley Hill.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, George "Goober" Hill, Jr. and Isaiah "Ike” Hill.

He was a Brewer High School Track Star & a graduate of class of 1971. He previously worked for Solutia for many years, and he also worked at Walmart, & most recently The United Way and he was an avid Sports fan.

He leaves to cherish his loving and fond memories, He was married to the love of his life and the mother of his children, Brenda Jones Hill. He leaves behind his son, S.T. Hill, his daughter, Denise (Rodney) Hill White, and his very special grandson, Myles R. White, and also survived by Deiontra Middleton, Jamil Martin, Kevana Middleton, Kimberly Aiken, and Kemarion Aiken.

Two brothers- Gregory "Geno" of Pa. and Douglas (Karrie Ann) Hill of Greenwood; Four Sisters- Georgia Ann (James) Hill Miller of Cross Hill, SC, Jackie (Paul) Hill Satterwhite of Greenwood, SC, Carolyn Hill of the home, and Elaine (Herbert) Hill Foster of Greenwood, SC., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services Held, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., at Young's Chapel Baptist Church, with Pastor Lonnie West, Presiding and Rev. Willie Cannady, officiating. Burial will follow at Evening Star Cemetery. The family is at the home, 323 Sullivan Street, please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
