Robert Lee Parker, 79, formerly of 109 Oakdale Drive, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 29, 2025, at NHC Greenwood. Born in Troy, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Ivan Parker and Grace Wilson Hackett.
Mr. Parker was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Ben Hackett, grandparents Carrie Lou New Parker and Whittier Parker, one sister, Willie Mae Hackett and one brother J.B. Hackett.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: two daughters, Rose(Thomas) Cheatham of Greenwood, SC, and Carolyn(Michael) McCasline of Troy, SC; one son, Jamie Parker; one brother, Ricky Hackett of Maryland; two sisters, Maxine Richardson of Maryland and Yvonne Hackett, Washington, D.C; eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; a close friend, Garnell Holloway, of Greenwood and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Parker will be conducted on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11: 00A.M, with Akili Tbecei Dey, officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Robinson and Son Mortuary, online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com .
