Robert Corey Anderson

Greenville, SC- Robert Corey Anderson, 53, of 350 Fairforest Way, husband of LaShay Anderson, departed this walk of life on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at St. Francis Downtown, Born in Greenwood, South Carolina he is the son of Lola Mae Devlin Anderson and the late James Thomas Anderson. He is preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Reg” Anderson and one sister, Sallie Rosenburgh. He is preceded in death by three grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, LaShay Anderson of the home; his mother, Lola Mae Anderson of Greenwood, SC; seven sons, Jamias Anderson, D’marcus Anderson, Jamar Anderson and Robert “Rob” Anderson all of Greenwood, SC, JyTavious Anderson, Jamir Anderson, and Hakiem Warren all of the home; five daughters, Chrisanthia Sheppard, Abria Anderson, Kenya Cobb and Coriyonna Happi Anderson all of Greenwood, SC, Jaida Anderson, Brenasia Griffin and Bre’handa Wilson all of the home; five brothers, Willie James “Billie Jack” Anderson of Greenwood, SC, Kamau Sadiki of Upper Marlboro, MD, Greg (Cynthia) Anderson of Greenwood, SC, Darryl (Roshanda) Anderson of Greenwood, SC, and Andre’ M. Anderson of Upper Marlboro, MD; two sisters, Mable A. Felder of Greenwood, SC and Fannie Hughes of Upper Marlboro, MD; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Dr. Ankoma D. Anderson, Bishop O.T. McCray, Pastor & Presiding. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family has requested potted plants, please no artificial flowers.
