Ricky "Rick" Christian

Ricky “Rick” Christian, 62, of 326 Sullivan Street, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Hospice House of the Piedmont–Greenwood. He was born to the late Matthew Oliver and Carrie Christian Oliver. Ricky was of the Methodist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Oliver.

Ricky leaves to cherish his loving memories his devoted mother, Carrie Christian Oliver, of the home; three brothers, Tony Christian, Kevin Christian, and Trakius (Keierra) Christian, all of Greenwood; and nine sisters: Valerie (Barnell) Shepheard of Charlotte, North Carolina; Miriam Rena Christian, Tracy Morgan, Angela Shantelle Williams, Priscilla Leverett, and Beverly (Minister Thomas) Connor, all of Greenwood; Devonna Williams, Pamela Lewis, and Gloria Oliver, all of Ninety-Six, South Carolina. His loving companion Sarah Morgan, of Thompson, Ga.  He also leaves three children whom he raised as his own: Justin Jones of Greenwood, Brittany Jones of Greenville, and Anquetta Robinson of Greenville; one godson, Idol Rankin; a very close cousin, Ervin “Junebug” Goode; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Ricky Christian will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, with Archbishop Emanuel Spearman officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Robinson & Son Mortuary. The family will be receiving friends at the home, 326 Sullivan Street.
