Reuben Tolden

Greenwood, SC- Reuben Tolden Sr., 77, of 105 Manning Road, husband of Barbara Brown Tolden, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Born in Greenwood he was the son of the late Willie Wright and the late Helen Maud Williams. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Tolden of the home; two sons, Reuben (Cynthia) Tolden, II of Raleigh, NC, and Christian Durant Tolden of Greenville, SC; one daughter, Melissa Renee (Milton) Vann of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Milton Tolden of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Katherine Tolden of Greenwood, SC; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Thessa Smith. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery.
