Spring Lake, NC- Peggy Delorise Lewis, 67, of 2344 Lillington Highway, wife of Michael Lewis, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Ebbie Lou Wideman Mansel and the late Nathaniel Mansel. Peggy was a member of Holy Spring Baptist in Hodges, South Carolina and attended Dunham Temple C.M.E Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, he loving husband, Michael Lewis of the home; her mother, Ebbie Lou Mansel of Hodges, SC; three sons, Michael Sebastian (Joi) Lewis, Michael Mario (Victoria) Lewis, and Malik Lewis all of North Carolina; three daughters, Yvette (John) Frazier Smith and Kimberly (Terrance) Smith both of Greenwood, SC, LaVance (Shena) Frazier, and Crystal Lewis of North Carolina; five siblings, Teressa Mansel Cohens of Hodges, SC, Betty Carroll, Gloria Mansel, Jeannine Rapley, Harry Mansel; nineteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Dunham Temple C.M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. James McKee. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
