Greenwood, South Carolina- Nina Mae Hurley Watts, 75, of 207 New Market Street, Apt. 8-A, departed this walk of life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South, she was the daughter of the late Albert Hurley Sr. and the late Mary Lou Thomas Hurley. She was preceded in death by five brothers, James “Ball” Hurley, John Hurley, Tony Hurley, Henry Hurley, and Albert Hurley; four sisters, Lillie Harrison, Pauline Hurley, Essie Mae Tolbert, and Rhunette Hurley; four stepsisters, Mickey Tolbert, Bessie Johnson, Dot, and Elizabeth.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Bobby (Joann) Hurley of Greenwood, SC, one daughter, Barbara Strong of Greenwood, SC; nine grandchildren, one grandson who was reared in the home, Anthony Chambers; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church. The body will be placed in the church at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Springfield Baptist Church on Laurens Highway, Greenwood, SC. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
