Nathaniel Simon Jr.

Greenwood, South Carolina- Nathaniel Simon Jr., 72, of 345 Mineral Avenue, widower of Dorothy Ann Simon, departed this walk of life on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina he was the son of the late Nathaniel Simon Sr. and the late Helen Louise Harling Simon. He was a member of Calvary Grove Baptist Church, and he is preceded in death by one son, Nathan Jerome Simon and one daughter, Dorothy Jean Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his memories, five daughters, Ada Louise Simon, Avis Chanel (Dwayne) Laster, Lawanda Makins (Shirvella), Tashanda Dale, and Takela Sally Witt all of Greenwood, SC; one sister, Angelina (Johnny) Phillips of Promised Land, SC; two stepchildren, Lakeisha Dale and Robert Dale both of Greenwood, SC; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Calvary Grove Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Michelle Cummings. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
