Columbia, SC- Minnie Lee Harris Freeman, 99, of 313 Westlawn Road, widow of Ellis Freeman, departed this walk of like on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her home. Born in Honea Path, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Leverett and the late Lillian Harris. She was a member of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Hodges, South Carolina. And a dedicated volunteer at Big Bethel Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Carolyn Evans of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Wilbert) Henderson Morton of Bradley, SC, Aaron Evans of High Point, NC, Andric (Letatia) Evans of Columbia, SC, Alison Byrd of Atlanta, GA, and Terrell Mays of Hodges, SC; a special friend of the family, Tameka Leslie; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Little River Multicultural Center, conducted by Rev. Greg Singleton. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. The body will be placed in the Little River Multicultural Center at 10:00 A.M. Viewing will be from 1-6 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2025, at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
