Mildred Moore Obituary

Greenwood, SC- Mildred Moore, 86, of 206 North Hospital Street, departed this life on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born September 19, 1938, in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late Mack Moore and Abell Moore. She attended Brewer High School and retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a member of St. Luke Pentecostal Church.


She was the first of twelve siblings that include J.C. Moore, Arthur Sloan Moore, John Frank Moore, Jim Moore, David Moore, Robert Curtis Moore, Eugene Moore, Lottie Moore, Charity Klugh, Irene Wideman, Mattie Pearl Moore, and Emma Robinson.


She leaves to cherish her memories, four special nieces, Betty Moore reared in the home, Judy Martin (Thomas of Abbeville, SC, Jackie Sims (Freddie) of Las Vegas, NV, and Delaine Moore of Winston Salem, NC; three nephews, Tony C. Robinson (Kimberly) of Ninety Six, SC, Eugene Moore (Sandra) of Greenwood, SC, and Danny Moore of Winston Salem, NC, one great nephew Corey Moore (Natashia) of Spartanburg, SC; two great great nieces, Koryasia Moore and Tekoria Brown; one sister in law, Edith Moore; one brother in law, Odell Wideman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.


Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Luke Pentecostal Church, Officiating Overseer Charles Vaughn, and Presiding Bishop Henry L. Burton. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
