Marvin Holmes II

Greenwood, SC- Marvin Holmes II, 43, of 121 Cothran Drive, departed this walk of life on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Born in Clinton, South Carolina he was the son of Barbara Williams Holmes, and the late Marvin Holmes Sr. He is preceded in death by a brother Kahali Chaney.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Barbara Holmes of Greenwood; four sons, Isaiah Holmes, Jeremiah Holmes, and Jaden Holmes all of Greenwood, SC and Cason Harrison  of Abbeville, SC; three brothers, Ralph Chaney of Clinton, SC, Omar Chaney, and Martez (Tara) Holmes both of Greenwood, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Tommy Stanford. Burial will follow at the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
