Mammie M. Griffin

Mammie M. Griffin, 69, of 216 Wilson Bridge Road, Ninety Six, South Carolina, gained her angel wings on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home. Born in Ninety Six, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert Boyd Sr. and the late Rebecca Chappell Boyd. She graduated from Ninety Six High School, class of 1974. She is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Boyd Jr., and two brothers-in-law, Marshall Lee and William Stevens.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Angela (Lucius) Brown and Markavius (Candice) Griffin both of Ninety Six, SC; four siblings, Roberta Carroll, Marcella Stevens, Norman Boyd, and Rufus (Evelyn) Lark all of Ninety Six, SC; good friends, Isaiah Griffin, Bessie Lee Jones, and Frances Norman; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two nephews; nine nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Ms. Mamie M. Griffin will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, and “Viewing will also be available the day of the service from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.” Burial will follow at the Evening Star Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph R. Caldwell. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Robinson and Son Mortuary. The family is at the home.
