Mamie Peterson

Greenwood, SC- Mamie Peterson, 72, of 308 Baldwin Avenue, departed this walk of life on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Bradley, South Carolina, she is the daughter of Julia Clark Turner, and the late Samuel Turner. She was an educator at Clemson Extension and is preceded in death by a great grandchild.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Nathan Peterson of Greenwood; two daughters, Stephanie Williams of Greenwood, and Rashonda Peterson of Anderson; one brother, Jerry Turner of Greenwood; Nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
