Mable Morton Norman

 Greenwood, SC- Mable Morton Norman, 90, of 1110 Marshall Road, widow of Nelson Norman, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Wesley Commons Health & Rehab Center. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Morton and the late Mattie Brown Morton. She was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters-in-law, Julia Morton of Bradley, SC, and Cheryl Calhoun of Greenwood, SC; and a host of grandchildren, one who was reared in the home, Franklin Jerome (Lisa) Freeman of Greenwood, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives to mourn her passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Cross Road Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
