Lenora Bonds Lark, 97, widow of the late Rufus Lark, Sr., of 608 Brickyard Road, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her home. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Forest Bonds and Rosie Bell Bonds.
Mrs. Lark was a faithful member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member, a member of the Senior Society, and as Mother of the Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: five sons, Rufus (Evelyn) Lark, Jr. and Jarby Lark, both of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; Alvin Lark of the home; Calvin (Janet) Lark of Promised Land and Hiriam Robinson, of Greenwood; two daughters, Rosie Mae Lark Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dorothy Lark (Calvin) Butler of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; hograndchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora Lark will be conducted on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, with Pastor Willie K. Cannady, officiating. Burial will follow ,in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Robinson & Son Mortuary. The family is at the home.
