Latoya Roberts Obituary


Latoya "Toya" Lanice Roberts was a caring daughter,  sister, niece, aunt, and friend. Toya succombed to her battle to diabetes complications and rheumatoid arthritis on  Saturday August 27, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. Toya battled with both diseases most of her life and despite the health challenges and pain she always managed to smile. 
Toya was a retirement gift born to Franklin "Rob" Roberts and Mary Parker Roberts October 4, 1993 in Clinton Maryland. She relocated with her family to South Carolina and graduated from Mccormick High School in Mccormick SC in 2013. After high school, Toya studied business administration at Miller Motte Tech  and graduated from Colorado tech in 2017.
Toya is survived by her loving mother Mary Parker Roberts of Augusta GA, sister Tamika Norfleet of Mt. Holly NC, sister Chiquita Hills of Chester VA and brother Eugene Roberts of St. Louis MO. In addition, she has uncle, Bishop Dr. Emanuel Spearman of Greenwood SC,  two aunts Ethel Speamen of Germany, Emma Jean Tutt and uncle George Tutt of Plum Branch SC. She has four great aunts, aunt Mary Calaham of Mccormick,  aunt Mary Jane Quarles of Abbeville, aunt Thelma Spearman of Hodges and aunt Rosa Griffen of Abbeville SC.
Toya was a lover of all things social media, sharing positive quotes,activities, photos and love of her family. Now her name is posted in heaven! 
The reward of every believer.


A Memorial Service for Latoya Lanice Roberts will be held Saturday September 3, 2022 at 3p from the chapel of the Robinson & Son Mortuary conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman.

Seating will be limited and please wear a mask.
