Kenneth Marshall Obituary

Greenwood, SC- Kenneth Edward Marshall, 75, of 204 Holly Avenue, husband of Linda Marshall, transitioned from earth to heaven on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina he was the son of the late Edward Marshal and the late Camilla Butler Gilbert. He was a member of Macedonia C.M.E. Church in Hodges, South Carolina, where he served as a Trustee. He was also a former member of the American Legion Post 224, and he is a Veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his son, John Patrick Covington.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of "51" years, Linda Faye Marshall of the home; two god sons, Bennie Williams Jr. and Braylon Jackson  both of Greenwood; one goddaughter, Nicole Robinson of Greenwood ;three brothers, Harry Jackson of Saluda, Johnny Jackson and Michael (Katrina) Jackson of  Greenwood; two sisters, Angela( Sylvester Ramsey) Jackson of Hodges, and Rosa Jackson of Greenwood; four grandchildren; a  devoted nephew and nieces, Jeff (Mica) Marshall, Brandy (Tracey) Wideman and Tristan Wideman and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.


Services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Beulah Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Janet Corley, Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park, with military honors. Viewing will be from 1-6 P.M. on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.  The family is at 408 Twisted Oak Drive (Broken Ridge Subdivision).
