Jeanell (Mims) Lark

Jeanell Mims Lark, 79, of 111 Peachtree Street, Greenwood, South Carolina, entered into enteral rest on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in McCormick, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Mims and the late Carrie Morris Mims. Ms. Jeanell is preceded in death by one son, Anthony Lark, one daughter, Karen Legrone, and a host of brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Ken Ashbia Lark III, one daughter, Kiesha Lark of Ninety Six,  SC; God-daughter, Montrice Curenton, of Columbia, S.C., two brothers, Marion Mims (Virginia Jennings) of McCormick, SC and David Mims of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Mamie Lee Scott of Baltimore, MD, Betty Ann Williams of McCormick, SC, and Jeanette Pressley of Baltimore, MD; a sister-in-law, Bessie Mae Mims of Augusta, GA; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Chapel of Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
