James Edward Cobb Jr.

Greenwood, SC- James Edward Cobb Jr., 79, of 151 Pressley Avenue, husband of Geneva Butler Cobb, departed this walk of life on Thursday, August 28, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James Edward Cobb Sr. and the late Mary Blanchard. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Geneva Cobb of Gastonia, NC; one son, Roosevelt Lomax of Baltimore, MD; one daughter, Jametta Harrison of Greenwood, SC; a granddaughter, Tiona Young of Greenwood, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc,. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
