Jacquelyn Denise Sanders Gaines

On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Jacquelyn Denise Sanders Gaines, 64, transitioned from labor to reward. Her faith held strong to the very end; wife of Kenneth E. Gaines; daughter of the late Annie Mae Moore Sanders.

Surviving her husband of 37 years and 8 months of the home; one daughter, LaTasha S. Morton; three sons, Ronrico Sanders, Kendrick H. Gaines, Travis E. Belcher; one sister, Shelia S. Jennings (Rufus); twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Dunham Temple C.M.E. Church, with Pastor James E, McKee Presiding, Archbishop Emmanuel Spearman Officiating.  Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.  Receiving family and friends will be from 6-8 P.M. in the chapel.
