Hattie Jackson Obituary

Hattie Mae Lark Jackson, 73, of 217 W. Laurel Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Emerald Gardens. She was born in Ninety Six, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Ashbia K.C. Lark and Hattie Presley Lark.

Mrs. Jackson was a faithful member of Pine Pleasant Baptist Church in Ninety Six, where she served devotedly as an usher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ashbia Lark; and two sisters, Willie Belle Lark Collins and Eugenia “Jean” Reeder.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two sons, Reggie Jackson (Letisha Henderson) of Greenwood and Bryant Jackson (Latishe) of Irmo; one brother, George Lark of Greenwood; two sisters, Anna Reeder of Ninety Six, South Carolina and Janie Alice Raines of Pennsylvania; one brother-in-law, Leroy L. Collins, three grandchildren; Camron Jackson, Breaisa Jackson and Bryleigh Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, with Reverend Willie K. Cannady, Pastor, officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
