George Warren Chapman

Greenwood, SC- George Warren Chapman, 56, of 1119 Phoenix Street, Apt. A, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at his home.  Born in Greenwood, South Carolina he was the son of the late George Warren Chapman Sr. and the late Hazel Coleman Chapman Lewis. He was also of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by one brother, Karl Lewis, one sister, Theretha Abney, and his Stepfather, David Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Jamaria Adams; one daughter, Tierra Freeman of Simpsonville, SC; four brothers, Marvin Chapman of Greenwood, SC, James Abney, Milton Abney, and Brandon Daniels all of Saluda, SC; six sisters, Tammy Chapman and Felicia Mathis both of Greenwood, SC, Alondra Abney of Saluda, SC, Samelia Abney of Newberry, SC, Angelia Lewis, and Shonya Sturdivant; and a host of others relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Robert L. Heflin Jr., Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Ninety Six, South Carolina. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson and Son Mortuary Inc.
