Freddy “Freddy G” Jackson, 71, of 408 Fortune Street, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Freddy was born on August 26, 1954, in Greenwood County to the late Heyward and Virginia Luster. He was later adopted by the late Woodrow and Mary Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James and Jesse Johnson and Charles Latimer; and two sisters, the late Margaret Elaine Johnson and the late Hester Latimer.
Freddy leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Montez Frazier; one daughter, Juanita Williams; five sisters, Theresa Waldrup of Piedmont, SC, Virginia Johnson of Anderson, Betty Harris of Ware Shoals, Karen Harrison of Anderson, and Reecie Robinson of Belton; four brothers, John Edward Latimer of Belton, Jerry (Mondestine) Latimer of Belton, Michael Latimer of Anderson, and George Latimer of Calhoun Falls; a very loving and devoted friend, Ms. Alice Marie Williams; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one aunt, Hattie Mae Murray of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Freddy Jackson will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the chapel of Robinson and Son Mortuary, with Reverend Willie Forrest, officiating. Public viewing will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 9 A.M until the service hour.
