Greenwood, SC- Eugene Brandlen Day, 63, of 646 Grier Street, transitioned from earth to heaven on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at his home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Willie James Day, the late Liddie Mae Day, and the late Juanita Vernita Minor. He is preceded in death by a son, Eugene “Lil Bill” Davis, and a brother, Andre Day.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Bryant (Keisha) Davis and Demarcus (Dana) Day both of Greenwood; two daughters, Veronica Davis and Takeisha (Greg) Saxon both of Greenwood; two brothers, James Day of Greenwood, and Dewayne Day of Landover, MD; six sisters, Cassandra Day, Alcyon Green, Avis (Roger) Green-Coley, Iretha (Steve) Green-Wade, Karen (John) Henson, and Sabrina Day all of Landover, MD; a special friend Deborah Langford of Greenwood; seventeen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
