Emma Ruth Anderson

McCormick, SC- Emma Ruth Anderson, 70, 27 School House Lane, gained her angel wings on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Edgefield, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Willie R. Anderson, and the late Emma Walton Anderson. She was a member of Pleasant Lane Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by two brothers, John Thomas Anderson, and Willie James Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Ricky Anderson of the home; one daughter, Porcha Anderson of Columbia, SC; five brothers, Hollie (Addie) Anderson, Bob (Helen) Anderson, and James Albert (Elaine) Anderson all of Edgefield, SC, Leroy (Pamela) Anderson, and McArthur (Jannie) Anderson both of Greenwood; three sisters, Dorothy Robertson of Greenwood, Barbara (Mack) Wardlaw of Edgefield, and Essie Anderson Price of Ridge Spring, SC; four grandchildren, Y’Trisha Rapley, Reginal (Kaila) Anderson, Katara A. Anderson, and Tyrese J. Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Pleasant Lane Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Melvin Searles. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
