Greenwood, South Carolina- Ellissia Dayna Folk, 59, of 1133 South Main Street, wife of Cazzie Folk, departed this walk of life on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at her home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she is the daughter of Carolyn Frazier Lanier and the late Ellis Lanier. She was a member of First Zion A.M.E Church in New York and New Spring. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Hassan Taylor and Garrett Taylor, and one sister, Touana Allen.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of “8” years, Cazzie Folk of the home; one son, Timothy Taylor of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Elisha Lanier of Greenwood, SC; six brothers, Aaron Allen, James Taylor, and Destri Taylor all of New York, Deyon (Stephanie) Taylor, Devon Lanier and Antwon Lanier all of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Lisa Lanier (Chauncey) Britt of Pennsylvania and Kitura Taylor of Pennsylvania; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Pastor Michael Fisher. Burial will follow at Youngs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
