Dorothy J. Watson

Greenwood, SC- Dorothy J. Watson, 62, of 230 East Cambridge Avenue, Apt. 101, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Watson and the late, Beatrice Gertrude Watson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Patrick Eugene Watson, Kelcey Watson, and Jermaine Larry Watson all of Greenwood; three brothers, David Watson, Thomas (Dorothy Mae) Watson, and Charles Watson all of Greenwood; six sisters, Pearlina Jennings of Troy, SC, Geneva (James) Cobb, Beatrice Jones, Shirley Mae Wilson, Mary (Phylis Carl) Robinson, and Patricia (Guy) McKee all of Greenwood; eight grandchildren, Deavonte Morris, Tristeona Watson who was reared in the home, Allaysia Morris, Idol Rankin, Robert Watson, Antonio Watson, Jaykevious Watson, and Jaikeavious Watson; one great grandchild Travonta Elmore Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at True Vine Progressive Church of Holiness, conducted by Rev. Paul Jennings. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
