Dorothy Deloris Cantrell

Dorothy Deloris Cantrell, 72, of 1107-B Anderson Street, departed this walk of like on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert Davis and the late Hattie Gilchrist Davis and reared in home of Woodrow Phillip Gilchrist. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Stephen (Tammie) Gilchrist of Columbia, SC, and Derrick (Kayla) Sloan of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Jessice Cantrell of Augusta, GA; one brother, William "Billy" Gilchrist of Greenwood, SC; four sisters, Sara Fludd and Phyllis (James) Sanders both of Greenwood, SC, Brenda Davis of Abbeville, SC, and Dorothy Davis of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Johnnie Waller. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
