Diane Garner Barr

Ninety Six, SC- Diane Garner Barr, 63, of 213 Little Mountain Road, wife of Lee Bernard Barr, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late Ollie Lee Garner, Sr and the late Motlee Williams Garner. She attended Dunham Temple C.M.E Church. She is preceded in death by, one brother, Willie Lee Garner, and three sisters, Rosemary Anderson, MayLou Robinson, and Betty Gene Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of “25” years, Lee Bernard Barr; son, Isaiah Griffin Jr. of Ninety Six, SC; two daughters, Natasha Griffin and Tashima Moore both of Greenwood, SC; a stepdaughter, Anntoine Barr of Greenwood, SC; one brother, Ollie Lee (Yolanda ) Garner, Jr of Ninety Six, SC; two sisters, John Ann (Matthew) Head and Christine Adams both of Greenwood, SC; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Mays United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Ninety Six Community Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
