Demetrous Sentelle "Booga" Childs

Greenwood, SC- Demetrous Sentelle Childs, age 43, affectionally known as “Booga” of 111 Independence Way, transitioned from earth to heaven on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was the son of Louise Childs and Stanley Griffin. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Holloway; grandmother, Annie Bell Coates; and great uncle, Horace Watson.

Loving memories of him will be cherished by his mother, Louise Childs, grandmother, Carrie Ware, and grandfather, William Carter all of the home; his father, Stanley Griffin of Greenwood, SC; four beautiful kids, Demetrous Child, Jr, Mahagoni Childs, Malaysia Drennon, and Milliani Andrews; one brother, Travis (Robin) Childs; one nephew, Ayden Childs; one niece, Tiasia Childs; five uncles, Ray Sims, Morris Stewart, Charles Carter, I’tavious Carter, and James Childs; one aunt, Rosa Griffin; four great aunts, Annie (Bennie) Holloway, Catherine (Lewis) Carroll, Lillie Childs, and Beatrice Childs; special friends, Candice Madden, and Sadie Mayes; a special aunt, Georgette Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Joseph Caldwell. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
