Debra Jean Carter Norman, 65, of 403 Anderson Avenue in Bradley, SC, departed this walk of life on Thursday April 02, 2026, at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of Annette Holmes Carter and the late George Carter, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Rokia Q. Dunlap Carter of Greenwood; her mother of Bradley; three brothers, Barry Carter, Gregory Carter and George (Michelle) Carter; three sisters, Joyce Wright, Cynthia Mosley and Valerie Carter; one grandchild, Lyrical and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held on 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026 at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Jerry Brown. Presiding will be Minister Michelle Carter. Burial will follow in Jacob Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 1:00-6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The family is at the home of her mother, 402 Broadway Avenue. Arrangements are being handled by Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc.
