Greenwood, SC- Deacon Freddie Osia Clark, 74, of 102 Victory Road, husband of Evangelist Fannie Higgins Clark, transitioned from earth to heaven on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home. Born in Ninety Six, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Osia Clark and the late Barbara Bland Clark. He was a member of Jacob Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Renee Bridgette Clark, and one brother, Benjamin Earl Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of “48” years, Fannie Clark of the home; one daughter, Sanquinetta (Raymond) Williams of Greenwood, SC; one bonus daughter, Stephanie (Herman) Carsson of Georgia; one brother, Curtis (Deborah) Clark of Greenwood, SC; four sisters, Stella Davis, Barbara (Elvin) Campbell, Mary Robinson, and Betty Weathers all of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren, one reared in the home, Kahdajah Clark; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Jacob Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Jerry Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
